• This is the one you would need. this is a female HDMI port that will connect to the HDMI cable coming from your blueray. Player. The other side of the adapter is a male DVI-D adapter that will connect directly to your TV.

• My older tv doesnt have an hdmi plug and my mini box for my TV only had an hdmi so in order to make the box work with that tv I plugged the DVI into my tv and it has the HDMI female end in it, so I only had to plug an HDMI cord into it and then into my mini box for my tv and it worked great. I would think thats all you need, but for whatever reason it doesnt work for you then they will refund your money.

• You are going to need a Male HDMI to female DVI adapter in order. Also, from the sound of your question it sounds like you may have a computer monitor versus an actual television as televisions don't usually come native with DVI output.

• HDMI to DVI. You'd also need an audio cable, as the DVI doesn't pass sound. I'd get an optical or digital coax cable if I were you

• The hdmi to dvi adapter will accept an hdmi cable from your blue ray and plug into your dvi on your tv.

• you can use the DVI cable or you can get a DVI to HDMI adapter. both will put out a digital signal.
