Needed this adapter to connect a second Samsung curved monitor to my pc. This adapter worked perfectly. Very happy wth my purchase.

Picked up the adapter the other day and it works fine. It's a great little adapter for the money.

I got a good deal on a dual-monitor rig to use with my office laptop while telecommuting, but for some reason the DisplayPort connection wouldn't work for the one monitor when the other is plugged into the VGA connection. (The docking station has one each of DisplayPort, DVI, and VGA; the monitors, in turn, have DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA.) Apparently this is a known issue with some Dell equipment, which is what the office issued me. So I decided to try this adapter to run an HDMI cable and it works perfectly. Not much else to say: It has a female HDMI connector on the one end and a male DVI connector on the other.

im running my dvi cable to my sony bravia tv and it works flawless. I have a custom built computer and i have not complains. Picture is great. I thought dvi didnt support audio but somehow it running sound through the hdmi cable to the dvi adapter didnt know how it happen but im glad it did my sound system sounds even better know than the regular stereo cable i had before.

We needed an HDMI to DVI connector to plug the PS4 in to a monitor since that is all we had for viewing at the time. This worked as needed. I had purchased another adapter that did not work, so I was afraid but this one same through.

Pros: The HDMI-DVI adapter works as expected. Good for connecting an HDMI monitor to a DVI graphics card or vice-versa. The female HDMI port lets you use an existing (not included) HDMI cable. Cons: Careful not to spend too much on this part as it is simply a passive adapter. Do your research first. Fairly bulky adapter.

Rocketfish always delivers good solid products, this adapter is no different. Works as designed. The only flaw is its size. Its on the larger size and if you are using a Dell monitor or any monitor that has a ridge around your connections fitment may be an issue. Other than that great product.

Needed a lot of assistance from the Geek Squad during my appointment. Brought in my laptop and computer screen. Bob from the Geek Squad went above and beyond helping connect the screen to my laptop for my son’s remote school learning. Bob even went so far to find the adapter and hook it up so I wouldn’t have any problems at home. Then took a look at my son’s IPad because he had a question. It’s because of Bob’s customer service that I renewed my Geek Squad account for another year. Very happy with the customer service I receive at the Saugus Best Buy. Will be having an TV install appointment next week.

I purchased this unit to connect a small TV to my computer as a second monitor. The TV had HDMI input, and the computer, which is older, did not have that, so an adapter was required. The unit worked as expected and I now have a high-res second monitor for my system.

This is perfect and works great!! Supper easy to connect. I use it for my laptop hooked to my monitor. Deffenitly would recommend this product!

It does what it says, hdmi to dvi adapter. Computer hdmi and monitor dvi. Used it and worked great. Also remember that if your running speakers from the monitor this will not carry the sound.

The adapter successfully converted my Xbox One HDMI output for a DVI input on an old Sony WEGA Trinitron HD TV. If you are seeking to so something similar, be sure that the Xbox One is not set to HDMI from a prior television, or else the display could be blank. Before disconnecting from an HDMI TV, go to Settings > Display & sound > Video output > Advanced: Video fidelity & overscan > Display, and makes sure it is not set to 'HDMI'. I believe that either the 'DVI'' or the 'Overrides: Auto-detect (recommended)' setting would work for the DVI connection.

This allowed me to keep and reuse a monitor that would otherwise been thrown out or donated. It is easy to use and provides a solid connection.

This adapter allowed us to use an older monitor with a laptop for virtual school. We plugged it in to One end of a cable that had hdmi on both ends. The picture was much larger than the screen on the laptop and it was possible for me to sit outside of camera view of the virtual classroom. My only complaint is it was about 3 times The price I could buy one for elsewhere. Rocket is very proud of their adaptors.

Nothing else would do the job. Needed this adapter to make the connection and it did it. Well made device. Easy to plug in. Buy it.

If you need someway to connect an older tv to an hdmi cord than this is your answer because it works great!!

I purchased this adapter over a year ago due to being asked to work from home at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Here we are eighteen months later and this little adapter still works as well today as it did when I first bought it. In fact, when I realized I needed a second monitor to do my work effectively from home, I purchased a second one! Very, very pleased with my purchases!

This device is fantastic. I don't know why they only put it by the TV component accessories when it should be over by the computer component accessories as well. It does as stated and turns an HDMI connection using an HDMI cable (male output) and converts it to a DVI connection. This is the perfect accessory for those that have a newer HDMI monitor and no HDMI connection on their desktop computer, but instead have a DVI connection.

Feels like diecast metal, but very durable. A bit on the heavy side. It connected my devices with no problem.
