I am trying to set up a blue ray player on my TV that doesn't have a HDMI option, but does have a DVI input. My blue ray player only has HDMI option, I see you have a HDMI convert to DVI. Which would I need? The HDMI to DVI or the DVI to HDMI?

You need an HDMI to DVI converter, so this is the correct product for what you want to do.

This is the one you would need. this is a female HDMI port that will connect to the HDMI cable coming from your blueray. Player. The other side of the adapter is a male DVI-D adapter that will connect directly to your TV.

My older tv doesnt have an hdmi plug and my mini box for my TV only had an hdmi so in order to make the box work with that tv I plugged the DVI into my tv and it has the HDMI female end in it, so I only had to plug an HDMI cord into it and then into my mini box for my tv and it worked great. I would think thats all you need, but for whatever reason it doesnt work for you then they will refund your money.

You are going to need a Male HDMI to female DVI adapter in order. Also, from the sound of your question it sounds like you may have a computer monitor versus an actual television as televisions don't usually come native with DVI output.

The hdmi to dvi adapter will accept an hdmi cable from your blue ray and plug into your dvi on your tv.

you can use the DVI cable or you can get a DVI to HDMI adapter. both will put out a digital signal.
