Yes! I actually have it's cousin. We had a lightning strike across the street from us. Cracked 3 windows it was that close and well, the house and windows are that old. lol It did it's job fantastically. I had it plugged in across the room from where i was sitting when the lightning struck. I was on the couch and I had the tv plugged into it. We didn't lose power or anything but the lights in the house got brighter for an instant and the TV shut off. I freaked out to be honest. I thought oh crap it didn't work. but i waited a little bit and then looked at it and pushed the reset button on it. everything came back to life. I did replace it tho. Just to be on the safe side. I didn't buy it originally for lightning strikes or anything like that. I bought it because I live in an older home and well my last two tvs popped capacitors because everytime the air condition kicked in the lights would dim. I was getting tired of replacing tvs. This regulates AC current as well as being a surge protector.
