No the soundbar is attached to the frame of the mount on the TV side. Hope that helps

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm sorry, I can not answer this question because I had returned the sound bar mount because it would not work with my Toshiba Soundbar. As far as I can tell the mount goes on first then the TV mount goes on top of it. So that means when the TV is tilted then the Soundbar mount will also move with the TV and hit the wall. You can only adjust it up and down only. Hope that helps.
