• No. This mount won't hold the weight of anything more than a loaf of bread without sliding down. It uses a little friction clamp to hold the bar at a given level, there are no holes in the bar with screws to put through to hold it there. Its hot trash stay away.

• Yes. This will mount underneath your television mount. It comes with its own longer screws and extensions to get proper screw length.
