“Is it feasible to increase the wattage of a receiver to receive louder bass on my subwoofer?”

• Wattage of a receiver won't increase louder bass. If you have the subwoofer hooked up low level (rca cable) you can increase the db level out of the receiver. If you have it hooked up high level (speaker wire) you can only use the volume on the subwoofer or turn up the db level for the speaker output your using. Disadvantage to this is you are also turning up the db level for that speaker output as well.

• I don't know. The receiver and transmitter only sends a signal to the sub. The volume is controlled at the sub itself

• The subwoofer will always be as loud as it was even if a receiver is upgraded to support more power. The subwoofer itself must be upgraded to be able to handle more power.
