If he is still getting sound from his subwoofer, it has not disconnected. If he is not getting sound from his subwoofer, it has disconnected. If it is truly disconnecting, he may need to re-examine the way he is hooked up. He should not use a Y-connector if his subwoofer does not have an LFE input. Only use right or left input; using both makes the subwoofer see 2 inputs and sum them (double them). This in turn will make you set the level at the receiver low enough that the transmitter will intermittently loose it. Also, the level setting at the subwoofer should be set at the mid-level at the start of the set-up. Setting it at max could also cause the LFE output at the receiver to be set too low.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same issue with the one I bought, I just don't think it is sensitive enough by design. Light turns red when no input is detected after 15 mins and turns blue when a signal is present. I have found that it takes an especially strong bass note or very high volume to get it to turn on. At normal listening volume you miss about 99% of the bass that normally goes to the sub when using a standard cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That just means that for that moment of the movie or tv show you watching dont produce a strong bass signal for that moment. But once it does the blue light will come back up and it will start working again. Also you can raise your volume just a notch and the signal will be delivered. It happens to me also.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Suggest your customer try running the amp at a high volumn and see if the problem continues. If it doesn't I would suggest the problem is low volumn output from the amplifiers subwoofer output. Perhaps a audio booster might solve the problem. Ligh is red when the unit is not receiving a signal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For this unit, it will show a solid blue light when the sender and receiver are paired and a flashing blue light when the units are not paired. Depending on the age of their unit, the LED may be a different color but it should only be one color.
