“Could I use a single monitor desk stand for this TV? The legs that come with this TV are too wide to fit on the platform I want to place it on. An aftermarket desk stand could work as long as the mounting holes at the back of the TV would be compatible.”

Hello D, The mounting system of both monitors and TVs are both VESA mounting, as long as you have the screws for the mount and the mount supports that size of TV it should work.
