Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Watch ESPN is the channel name of an app on the Roku 3 but I had to sign in with my cable provider's login information (Charter Spectrum) to view live games and news clips. Here is info from espn.go.com: Live streams of WatchESPN networks are available at no additional cost to fans with access to each network (dependent on subscriber's TV subscription through participating TV providers.) Access to live programming on the ESPN3 channel of WatchESPN.com is available at no additional cost to fans with subscriptions to participating high speed internet service providers. Click HERE to view a complete list of participating providers. ESPN3 is also available at no cost to U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel on computers connected to on-campus educational networks and on-base military networks.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Roku 3 and purchased the Sling TV channel. It costs $20/month and you get ESPN & ESPN2 along with about 15 other channels. This is the base subscription and the stream quality has been great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ESPN channel is limited to certain current sports news stories. you can watch major telecasts but to get the full ESPN experience you have to have a subscription or use SLING TV which costs you $20 a month. The games are made available after they broadcast, without a subscription.
