• The short answer is no. The Roku box provides a linkage to streaming media; it has no content of its own. There may be channels which have still pictures that change periodically but I'm not aware of them, and if so there is likely a subscription fee involved.

• I doubt it. If it is old then the TV may not have an HDMI input. If you do have an HDMI then i think your best bet is a Chromecast.
