“If you do not have 4K in your TV, is it still practical to get the device that has that capability over the Roku express? Voice activation through Siri or Alexa?”

I have the 4K Roku in my living room with my 65-inch 4K TV. I put the Roku Express on a small 1080 TV in my bedroom. I don't sense much if any difference in how quickly apps start up. If you want voice control, you can also download the app on your smartphone where you can use voice control. I like using their app over using the Roku remotes.

My grandson hooked it up so I can talk to the Alexa speaker to make the tv shows come on. I just tell her "Alexa, price is right is on" and she tunes it in! I don't have a 4k TV and it comes in pretty clear for $20. I like it, you will too.
