To activate your Roku® Express HD when you first use it, you must also create, activate, and link a Roku account using an activation link that will be sent to the email address you provide. Keep your smartphone or computer handy, as you will need to access your email in order to verify your account. When you are ready to activate your Roku device, start by connecting your Roku Express HD to the internet. When prompted you will enter your email address. Then use your computer or smartphone to access your inbox and locate the email from Roku with the activation link. If you cannot locate the message, be sure to check your spam or junk folder. Open the email from Roku and select the activation link. Finally from the Roku website, follow the instructions to create a free Roku account or log in to your existing account. Once all steps have been completed on the website, you will see 'Setup complete!'
