- Answer Very similar to Apple TV, you have the normal subscription services (Netflix, Prime, Hulu,...) and a few exclusive. YouTube is included. Many of the script services require tapping in a code on their site, so have a computer or mobile device handy.

QuestionI have a Polaroid monitor that I used with a coaxial cable ( doesn't have an HDMI cable outlet) to watch TV. Is there a Roku model that I could use or do I have to buy a new TV? It is used in a guest room.

- Answer What other ports does your TV have? If you only have a coaxial you might want to invest in a Roku TV. I bought 2-43” Sharp Roku TVs to replace old and small TVs. They work great. $279 apiece, no warranty.

- Answer I also have the Roku TV. I think the remote should work on the TV, even if the Roku stick is not installed. Alternatively, I have a Roku app on my phone, which can be used as a remote.

QuestionOur cable tv. provider is quiting operations so no cable. I would like to install an antenna and go to a roku for stations the antenna will not provide. We do have internet connection and we have wifi in the house. Do we just order the channels we want?

- Answer Yes, but you may have to pay for some of them. There are also streaming services, like Hulu. The way that it works is: you log into your service and then click on the program that you want to see. There is a live tv option on some of them, so you can get most of the local channels.

QuestionI have 3 Riki streaming sticks for 3 TVs. One works fine. One I can not change channels, l see and hear CNN fine. One will not connect to the internet. I get the Riku wallpaper but that is all.

- Answer Go To the Roku web site and it gives you the answers. Probally wont help. when the remote stops working the stick becomes useless. The Roku Express can be controlled with a phone app. Thats what I use now and they are cheaper. But give the Roku site a try and search youtube for Roku remote control reset procedures.

- Answer Should work without any issues but you may need to subscribe to Hulu, You Tube, etc for programming. There are many hundreds of available options.

- Answer Not sure about the stick, but Roku Express does have the Spectrum App. That’s what I use to watch TV from spectrum. This dick should have the same capability though .

- Answer Roku is not designed to be a stand alone receiver for over the air broadcasts. It will receive local channels if they are part of an internet service package or are available individually on the internet. An inexpensive UHF receiver (we bought a flat panel device from Best Buy for $20 and it works great) may be what would serve for this.

- Answer Roku is designed to work with streaming WIFI so if Spectrum can do that it should work. Be informed that there may be a charge for streaming programs or subscription services.

- Answer Most will say they're not compatable for the stick. The stick remote is an odd bird and uses a different solution then the others to run the Roku stick. Search youtube to find the explanation.
