• Hi, Rick! Most the time its one or the other. Without knowing what kind of headphones I can't give you the proper response. If you are wanting to private listen via Bluetooth though you absolutely can with the Roku Mobile app.

• most TVs will only choose one audio output unless a special splitter is used. also the device prefers to be connected to the HDMI ark port on your tv which uses sound and video while still protecting the device
