It comes with a remote. But if you have a smart phone you can download the roku app which is also a remote and works MUCH better than the one they give you.

Please try again later.why buy a remote when you can pair your iPhone with your device. if you don't have an iPhone.... if you bought the roku without the remote, I suggest that you buy the other roku with remote that comes with it then, you will have two roku and 1 remote which you can use to both of your device...just simply pair it.

Just press the button in the back under the battery cover for 3 - 5 seconds and it will scan for the device. You can also download the roku app to your phone and get even greater functionality: like a full keyboard when searching.
