They are both pretty easy to use
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's much better & easier than chromecast. Chromecast is acting as a transfer signal device (from PC, smartphone, tablet, etc) to HDTV. Chrome alone itself is NOTHING. It's much better Roku Stick, 1, and 2, but it's not good like Roku 3 based on Apps interface menu and availability of video apps. If you are gamer, the Google Nexus player is the choice. If you are more news, entertainment person, then the choice is Roku 3.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Roku
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Roku and my kids have Chrome. we all prefer Roku, specially since it comes with a remote, and has thousands of apps more that chrome.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One is a browser, the other is a hardware device. It's not an answerable question.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Roku, by far. Chromecast works by mirroring from your phone/tablet/computer, while the Roku is a full fledged streamer, with an included remote. I had a Chromecast and currently have a Roku 3, Roku Stick, and Fire TV Stick. CBS All Access is only available on the Roku and Chromecast, and HBO hasn't made it to Roku yet. Showtime is available through both Roku and Fire TV, either independently or as an add on to Hulu. Bear all of this in mind as you choose.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Both are great products but Roku gets my vote due to ease of setup and remote. Anyone of any age can easily use this product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Roku easily. Has a remote for direct use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends what you want to do. To mirror your PC, Chomecast is best. To watch/stream video content (from third parties like Netflix, Hulu, etc), Roku is the best.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hands down would be the Roku. The Chrome stick is just an extension from your mobile device (smart phone, tablet, etc.). You have to run Netflix or Hulu from your mobile device and have the chromecast app on your mobile device for it to stream.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
