• The new version no longer has a SD card slot but does have a USB port and a Roku channel for playing the media on it. I don't know what format limitations if any there are because I have not used it that way yet.

• Hello Alex, The Roku Ultra has no internal storage of its own so no movies can be directly downloaded onto it, but you can play media off of a USB.
