• Yes, you can. You can also get remotes without the voice button. If your talking about the screen reader, yes you can turn it off also in the settings. One cool thing about this version is you can use Bluetooth headphones as well.

• We have never activated voice controls and use the remote instead. The voice option can be turned on and off.

• Hello DianaT, there should be a switch on the side of the remote that disables voice control.
