“Can one person wear the headphones to hear at a louder volume while others in the room listen to the television on the regular speakers at a lower volume? i.e.: husband refuses hearing aides, so the tv is up really loud so he can hear and its 2 loud 4 me.”

• No. The sound is either coming out of the TV or out of the Roku. They do have devices that amplify sound for the hard of hearing though that aren't hearing aids per se. Look them up on Google

• Unfortunately I don't think you can have headphones and TV speaker at the same time. When you plug in headphones on remote you see headphone icon on TV but it is nice to use them and not disturb those around you.

• Use of the headphones mutes the volume so others in the room cannot hear the tv.
