“I have run my vhs movie thru the converter and into my Mac. Does this have the capacity to burn it onto a DVD now? I have an external CD-DVD thing and used to use IDVD but that's discontinued now that I upgraded my operating system.”

Sorry, can't help. I haven't had time as we just moved and getting all the eqpt. set up. The VHS machine needs an RCA cable to extend the connection from it to the converter going into my PC as well as another extension to my external disc drive.
