• Yes it is compatible with windows 10. I haven't tried that but you can use the snipping (https://youtu.be/DeOglvucFK4) tool from windows to take a snapshot on anything from your computer screen .

• It is compatible with Windows 10. I don't know if you can take snapshots but I would think as low as the resolution is from VHS you probably wouldn't want to anyway.

• Yes it is compatible with windows 10 it works great with my Surface. The second question you can take a picture after you extract the video to your hard drive.
