No.  There is a bracket for mounting the device to the wall and two bolts to mount to the bottom of the cabinet.

This over-the-range microwave will need to have a cabinet for the top. The cabinet will support most of the weight of the microwave with a top bracket while being assisted by the back bracket. No it cannot.  The microwave has one support bracket for the bottom & WILL require a cabinet for the mounting screws on top.
