No. Do not buy a Chromebook for college work. Go to the campus book store and see what they sell and buy one of them with your student discount. In my opinion, yes. It's perfect for accessing the Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc. and internet. It's small and lightweight, perfect for carrying to class and using on campus. The screen is fairly small for continuous use, so would be best to have either a regular sized laptop to use in conjunction, or plug it into a full-size monitor via the HDMI Port.
