The freezer handle pops off easily. I have accidentally pulled mine off a couple of times. Just pull close to where the handle connects to the freezer drawer. It just snaps back on.

Rather than removing the freezer drawer handles, which can be difficult to remove and replace due to the EZ Open lever mechanism, Samsung recommends following the instructions that can be found on page 12 of the User Manual for removing the drawer front instead. This requires the removal of only four hex bolts, which is much simpler than removing the EZ Open handle. Thank you for the question, Ms. Samsung
