• As you scroll across the sound bar options in the display screen (on the sound bar using the sound bar remote) you will find "rear speakers" turn the volume up there and you will get output from the rear speakers. I think that they are factory set at 0 when you first set them up.

• Hi KP68! Different sound modes will have different effects on the surround sound performance depending on the format of the source content. If you set the sound mode to SURROUND, you will get surround sound effect from the rear speakers. If you continue to experience issues, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG. ^Tim
