Although you could, I wouldn’t recommend this. Since you already have an amp, it would be a much better use of your money to buy a decent set of bookshelf speakers with sufficient low end. If you think that’s not enough, add a small powered sub later. That will blow this small sound bar away IMHO. I set one up for my mom, but I am used to NHT 2.9s with a center and Bowers & Wilkins 610 sub. Open box Polk or Klipsch Reference small bookshelf speakers for a nice savings could be a great option UNDER $200.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is an HDMI in and an HDMI output on the soundbar. In theory you could connect it between the AV receiver and the tv, but I’m unsure of whether the receiver would be able to control the volume without the need for the supplied controller.
