Do you need a hdmi cable? null

I used my optical input from speaker to tv without HDMI cable. HDMi cable can be used too. I believe it is one or the other option. If you are using HDMI, it has to be purchased separately. Cable doesn't come in the box.

Comes with a optical cable, HDMI would have to be bought separately and is optional.

Don’t need an hdmi cable if you want to use the optical cable that comes with it.
