“Does each item have its own power cord or is this whole system completely wireless?”

• Actually neither. The speakers do not require separate power cords, but are hardwired to a small book sized receiver. The central receiver is plugged into a wall outlet. The only wireless part of this is between the rear receiver and the front subwoofer/transmitter. As marketed its a little misleading what your buying.
