Hi Floss,

The RF23HCEDBSR has a water reservoir in the Refrigerator that holds approximately 1-2 liters of water. If it sits there filled for long enough it will chill to the temperature inside the Refrigerator. As water is dispensed, a new supply is drawn in, which will cause the average temperature of the water in the reservoir to be somewhere between your tap water temperature and the Refrigerator temperature.
