“Did they ever fix the poping noise, I have seen this has been a issue for 2015 & 2016 models but have not seen any issues on latest 2017 reviews.”

We have a 2018 model and have never had any popping noises. There is a noise I can't explain, when you open and close the freezer door, there is a "sucking" noise that lasts about 1 or 2 seconds after closing; it almost sounds like a small compressor is sealing the freezer but I don't see anything in the manual about it.
