“Why would you have to turn off the water line to change the filter? Can you change the filter without shutting the water line? We had another Samsung and we just changed the filter without shutting anything off.?”

We highly recommend shutting off the water line that goes into the refrigerator when changing the water filter to avoid any damage that may happen. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the refrigerator and i do not use the water feature at all. I have a few friends who have the same frig and they dont use it either. Otherwise it's a very good frig. Cheap because of the water filter feature. If you don't use the water feature at all the frig will have a longer life. Excellent freezer depth!
