The only light is the light that shows whether it’s water, cubed or crushed ice being dispensed. There is no light for the area being used and it would be nice if there was illumination.

Best to memorize the positions and that the dispenser chute/nozzle is in the center of the recessed area cause you didn't want to turn on kitchen light ... Truly unbelievable that Samsung couldn't comprehend this
