There are two models of side by side Samsungs that have ice makers in the door. They are models RSG307AARs and RS265TDRS.

Samsung's refrigerators are designed to maximize the usable space regardless of the placement of the icemaker, as evidenced by the storage capacities of the current model line-up. While some Samsung side by side refrigerators do feature in-door icemakers, the current French Doors, including the 28.0 cubic foot capacity Four-Door RF4289, have compact icemakers inside the refrigerator.
