Nothing you do will fix this problem. Bestbuy has replaced our entire icemaker on this Samsung fridge three times!! Now they are going to replace it a fourth time. We're tempted to sell it to someone else and let it be their problem - hopefully a Bestbuy, Geeksquad or Samsung employee. If we can't find one of those we'll just throw it away. We don't want anyone else having to deal with it.
