“What about PIP? I don't see that in Specs or Features. In a later Comment I read that it works great for PIP! My current source (for years) is the Realistic Model 45 VHS Stereo HI-FI VCR. Works great with my older Zenith System 3 that I'm about to replace. If the 28 Smart HDTV does PIP that will be a plus. Optical input?? I use a 2-way Stereo selector to switch between VCR & DVD. Everything is routed thru my NAD 7000 AVR. I like the 28 HDTV for it's analog Audio Out. I have TW-C On Demand Music Choice, Classic, Jazz, many others.”

I came across a setting at start up regarding PIP. It surprised me because I didn't realize it had it. I'm guessing here based on my other TV that has it, but unless your cable or satellite box supports it, you won't be able to see two channels. I've had cable that it works with and satellite that doesn't. It does work with two different sources such as TV and DVD players.

Some cable/satellite boxes will have this feature included, as well. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
