A:AnswerGreetings!
Thank you for reaching out and we hope you are in good health. We appreciate your interest in Samsung home appliances, specifically Samsung - 28 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with WiFi and Large Capacity - Stainless steel.
There are 3 questions that we can answer directly.
1. Yes, water filter comes with the refrigerator. Please click on the user manual link below and turn to page 15.
2 and 3. After about 6 months (and typically, about 300 gallons (1200 L) of water), the filter indicator blinks red for several seconds when you open the door, reminding you that the filter needs to be replaced. Please click on the user manual link below and turn to page 33, 37, 47.

A:AnswerAs others have noted, it is turned off and on via the push button inside of the refrigerator door. BUT make sure you turn off the lock first (if it is engaged) by holding the lock for three seconds (you will hear and see it is off. If it is not turned off you can not switch any settings). ALSO, you can then turn off the alarm when the door is left open (which I also did). Lastly, hold the LOCK button for 3 seconds to then again lock in your new settings.
A:AnswerThanks so much for asking, Bun! As you are facing this model, the door on your right will be the refrigerator section, and the left side is the freezer section. ^Jecca
A:AnswerReplying to Samsung's answer, I've already looked at the manual on page 17. The dimension of the fully open door is 18", but it does not say anything about whether or not the doors must be fully opened to open the internal drawers all the way. Anybody else have experience with this?
A:AnswerThanks so much for asking, Daniel! Generally we recommend allowing 24-48 hours for ice production to begin after installation. However, if you are still not getting any ice after 48 hours, this link (https://bit.ly/38wAxbj) can walk you through what steps to take next. ^Jecca

A:AnswerWe're so sorry to hear about this Elizabeth! I can only imagine how frustrating that would be. I do have this link (https://bit.ly/3i8OSQH) that I believe will be useful to you. A:AnswerHi there! I'm happy to help sort out the confusion on this. I have this link (https://bit.ly/3hP7cx2) to the user manual for this model. As you can see on pages 31 and 32, it only has the option to change the refrigerator temperatures to between 34 °F (1 °C) and 44 °F (7 °C), and the freezer temperatures to between 5 °F (-15 °C) and -8 °F (-23 °C). For comparison, I'm also including this link (https://bit.ly/3jVuQdQ) to the user manual for model RT21M6213SG/AA, one of our FlexZone models. You can see on pages 29 and 31 that this alternate model has a "Freezer Convert" option which allows you to switch the freezer compartment to refrigerator temperatures. ^Jecca
A:AnswerThanks so much for asking, BarndominiumGuy! While we do have some convertible models (usually named "FlexZone") this model is only set up to have a freezer section on the left side and a refrigerator section on the right. ^Jecca
A:AnswerHi Mich,
There is no specific width only for the freezer door. To at least get an idea of the dimensions of the freezer door. Here is a link to the spec sheet.
