It will shut off the lights and continue blinking but the fridge wont shut off completely.

We appreciate your interest in Samsung home appliances, specifically with Samsung - 28 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with WiFi and Large Capacity - Stainless steel. If the door is left open for more than 2 minutes, an alarm will sound and the alarm indicator will blink. You can toggle the alarm on and off by pressing Door Alarm. The alarm is enabled by factory default. If the door is left open for 5 minutes, the internal light (in the fridge, freezer) will blink for 5 minutes and turn off. This is for alerting the hearing-impaired person, and it is normal. I have shared the user manual link below.
