“The manual mentions being able to control the sound bar, sound fields and etc.., from the TV remote if you have a 2017 Samsung TV that support Bluetooth and the bar is connected using optical cables. Is this also supported with the HDMI-ARC connection?”

Hey JuaninChi - It may not support the sound fields on your TV being an older model. But your TV remote should be able to control the volume whether its connected to optical, Bluetooth or HDMI . ^Jason
