“What is the depth between the Grate (Top) and the sealed burner in this cooktop ? In my current Cooktop , the depth is large and hence heating is not efficient and takes more time for cooking .”

It is 1 inch for all of the side burners. The middle burner has a little more space for a pan such as a wok to sit closer to the flame, so that one is less.
