“How is the sound on this model?”

• The speakers are behind the TV so sound goes behind it instead of in front of the TV where you'll be sitting to view. Unless I'm missing something, I'm figuring out that I have to spend extra now to buy speakers that will face front.

• The sound is not that good, it sounds like a transistor radio to me. I was disappointed. You can always get some headphones, or a soundbar, or external speaker.

• We haven't added a sound bar for this extra use tv, so audio is a little 'tinny' compared to our larger tv with sound bar.

• Wish I would have seen this answer before I bought the TV. The sound is terrible. Exactly as described in other answers - tinny and no bass. I was about to try to exchange it to see if it's just the TV I have since I have a different Samsung, same size but not a Smart TV, that sounds just fine. Guess I will be taking this back because it's unbearable.

• it plays loud enough, but no bass. I think any tv this size doesn't play bass though unfortunately
