Is this TV "Cable Ready"? Or is that Old School"? null

Yes, it is cable ready. We plugged into our cable box with an HDMI cable, then into the TV's HDMI port. If you don't use a cable box, it looks like the TV can be connected directly to the cable, although we haven't tried this. This is a smart TV. WiFi is needed to use all the features this TV offers. If unfamiliar with using a smart TV, you may want to consider using a tech service to connect it for you and show how to use.
