The previous answer is incorrect. The volume bar graph is on the left hand side of the screen. I was asking about the bar graph which is under the channel number on the right hand side of the screen. Thank you.

The bar graph is a visual representation of how loud the tv sound is.  As the volume is raised to a higher number the graph line extends to the right.
