“What will the difference in sound quality between a 40" TV with 2 10W speakers and a 32" TV with 2 5W speakers...both Samsung Smart HDTVs”

World of difference. My previous Samsung 32" had to 10 watt speakers and sound was excellent. These with the 5 watt speakers are only meant for small room. The actual volume control is 1-100 and upon checking I had it sitting at 70 a few times. Definitely don't buy it listen to any music channels.
