Regarding your concern, do not wash rugs or doormats with rubber backing. The rubber backing may come off and stick inside the drum, and this may result in malfunction, such as a drainage error.     • Answer Not sure how much water is used but it definitely uses less water than the Samsung we bought 8 years ago so don’t use pods. This machine doesn’t use enough water for pods.

The washer detects the weight of the items and automatically adjusts the optimal water level, washing time, rinse counts, and spin counts. High Efficiency Stackable Front Load Washer with Vibration Reduction Technology+ - White. Due to the nature of a front loading washing machine's design, there is a rubber gasket that lines the door. This prevents leakage but is also a breeding ground for bacteria and mold to build. Any residual water left in the machine has nowhere to go, which is how mold and mildew form causing the machine to smell. Ideally, you have to clean the washing machine every after use.   • QuestionIs there supposed to be something over the glass or is the door hallow? Ours didn’t come with anything over the glass like our dryer did.

    • Answer My washer window dips in - I think that’s what you mean. The dryer door has double windows with the outer flat. Hadn’t noticed that, but it is odd. Even so, I think it’s meant to be that way.
