QuestionIs it normal for a new washers fabric softener compartment to hold water? I filled both detergent and fabric softener and once the washer started both were gone and fabric softener compartment was full of water!

- Answer i had kinda the same issue... i let it go thru the shortest cycle (rinse and spin) i think that would cleat dust and stuff that might be in it, and should cause the door to be unlocked, if not then the electronic lock might be DOA

In addition, the stacking kit is used to lock the washer and dryer to its position; it is not intended to increase the total height of the two appliances.
