Probably because it's in less demand. I have the black model and it's awesome.

Please try again later.I really don't know, but I can say that I was actually looking for the white-colored one, as my dryer is white, and working fine, so no need to replace the dryer, just the washer, for now. However, not only was the white model more expensive, but it also was not going to be available until January 2021. The black one would be available in less than 2 weeks, so for me, it was a no-brainer. I received my washer 3 weeks ago, and it is working great. I am really happy with my purchase. Recommended.
