can you use tide pods in this machine I see that there is a place to insert liquid. Can I throw a tide pod in with the laundry instead? they are HE pods.

Samsung doesn’t currently have research to confirm whether pre-packaged detergent pods are recommended or not, though it’s important to use only HE formulations of whichever detergent you do choose. Adding the pod directly to the wash drum may help it dissolve most effectively. If you find it isn’t dissolving thoroughly, then I would suggest using a traditional liquid or powder form of HE detergent instead, following the instructions in the user manual for proper application. Yes you can add these & any powder to the load before you start the program. You will need to cut down the size of them as they are too much soap for these as they are totally energy efficient.

I use the Tide pods in it and they work very well. Make sure you put the pod in before adding the clothes.

Yes you can use tide pods or gain flings. You just throw them in the washeer drum and not in the detergent tray

I believe so. I always add a little extra detergent and booster to the wash because the reservoir is not big enough to hold it all. It's worth a try.

Yes there is a small drawer that you can pour the soap and softerner inside the washer. If it is an HE pod. It should be okay.
