A:AnswerThe comet is a result of this TV being only 60Hz refresh rate. Google "what is judder" and you will learn why this happens.
If you don't like the comet effect, get a TV with at least 120Hz refresh rate.
A:AnswerHi Tsunami, standard HD is 1280 (wide) x 720 pixels or 1920 (wide) x 1080 pixels. The 4K UHD is a resolution of 3840 pixels × 2160 lines. ^Rosi
A:AnswerThe sound is fine. I'm using the set in my bedroom so it's not hooked up to any amp or soundbar. Since I watch it at night mostly I don't have the sound cranked up greatly but it is crystal clear. My cable company doesn't offer 4K viewing yet nor have I purchased a 4K Blue Ray player as of yet but just watching the cable TV or playing Blue Ray or DVD movies it still offers a great looking picture. I'm truly satisfied with the purchase and will probably upgrade my Blue Ray player to a 4K version once the prices fall on both the players and the 4K movies.
A:AnswerIf I remember correctly, the mounting screws came with my set, AND...very importantly.....were a very definite length. Too long of a screw will penatrate into the electronics insite and you may let the magic smoke out. Putting that magic smoke back is either very expensive, or impossible. Be careful!
A:AnswerJust one for TV setup. I would spend the money and invest in high quality HDMI cables. That way, your cables can handle the speed of the 4K set. You will be happy with the picture quality.
A:AnswerMid $400's for price, probably less now that newer models are coming out. Comes with power cord, remote, stand, and the TV. You provide your HDMI connections etc.
