“As somebody who watches sports (mainly Football) and somebody who games, would this be a good TV to pick up? (Ps4, not pro, and older for gaming, going back to like GameCube and N64 stuff, lol)”

YES this is for sports it is a 4K

However with that being said, the higher the refresh rate the better the experience will be but with anything 4k it'll drive up the price. Optimal refresh rate for a moderate gamer is in my opinion a 120hz refresh rate, do I think it's that big of difference? No.
